Our Winter Indoor 2016 schedule and rules
PreKs – 12:00 noon to 12:45
Kindergarten – 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM
1st & 2nd Grade – 2:00 PM to 2:55 PM
3rd & 4th – 3:00 PM to 3:55 PM
WINTER – INDOOR PROGRAM RULES, SAFETY, & EQUIPMENT
Thank you for participating in HUB Soccer’s winter soccer program. Please review the following guidelines and information. This will ensure that your child enjoys the program and we can continue using the school for indoor soccer.
BUILDING & PREMISE RULES –
Play the ball below the shoulders. No kicking the ball against walls or to the ceiling.
NJ law prohibits smoking on school grounds. This includes the building, outside area and parking lot.
Players and parents are expected to throw out garbage in appropriate containers.
Players and siblings are expected to remain in the gym during their soccer session. Parents should accompany children to the bath room. No playing or running in the hallway.
No eating or beverage drinking in the gym.
No climbing or playing on the bleachers.
No other athletic activities are permitted in the gym other than soccer.
Folding doors are to remain open.
ANY ONE NOT CONFORMING TO THESE RULES WILL BE SUSPENDED OR BANNED FROM PARTICIPATION.
EQUIPMENT & SAFETY –
Bring a water bottle
Shin guards covered by soccer socks are required to participate (Not for PreK).
Attire: shorts, soccer socks and winter-indoor t-shirt. Avoid tight fitting clothes that restrict movement.
Athletic shoes or sneakers suitable for playing in a gym (No Soccer Cleats!).
No jewelry (rings, necklaces, earrings, watches, wrist bans, etc) and no hats.
Players with long hair must have a head band or have hair tied back.
Eye Glasses – sports eye glasses that are banded so they do not fall off.
DROP OFF & PICK-UP –
Parents of recreation players are expected to remain in the gym for their child’s session.
Travel Parents – Please escort your child to the gym to make sure the coaches are there. Although the coaches are expected to be at the gym, last minute emergencies may occur. DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR CHILD BY THE DOORS AND LEAVE!
Please return promptly at the end of your child’s session and come in to the gym to get your child. DO NOT HAVE THEM WAIT OUTSIDE OR HANG OUT IN THE HALLWAY.
BAD WEATHER, OTHER CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES – You’ll be called or emailed via group email, director and/or coach if the school is closed or there is a change in time.
