DUE TO THE RAIN FORECAST AND PREFERRING TO AVOID A LAST MINUTE NOTICE, WE ARE CANCELLING THE 5/14 TRAVEL TRYOUTS. MAKE UP DATE IS MONDAY 5/21, SAME TIME AND LOCATION FOR U8 > U10 PLAYERS.
Tryout evaluations are based on multiple skills: running, speed, dribbling, passing, shooting, small and/or large sided scrimmaging. During small sided scrimmages, depending on the number of players trying out, players may be moved from grid to grid to assess their competitive ability. The evaluators and travel directors will make adjustments if needed to the venue based on player numbers, ability and/or other factors.
Please take the time to read our travel soccer essay so you are aware of the venue and commitment.
U8 > U10 GIRLS - Mondays 5/7 & 5/14 LOWER KNUTH 6:00 to 7:30
U8 > U10 BOYS - Mondays 5/7 & 5/14 VETERANS 6:00 to 7:30
U11 > U12 BOYS & GIRLS - 5/5 & 5/12 VETERANS 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
U13 > U14 BOYS & GIRLS - 5/5 & 5/12 VETERANS 11:00 AM to 12:30 AM
Over the last several years we have had a large number of tryout participants in the younger (U8 > U10) age groups. In order to minimize field overcrowding and the perception of "kids running around" girls will be at Lower Knuth and the boys will be at Veterans.
Parents are not permitted on the field. Coaches wanting to observe tryouts should remain on the perimeter of the field or grid where their players tryout.
If fields are closed due to bad weather, make up dates will be sent via group email and posted on the web site.
